Commercial Concrete Slabs & Floors in Atlanta, GA

Atlanta Concrete Services pours and repairs commercial slabs and interior floors for warehouses, retail spaces, offices, restaurants, churches and light industrial buildings. We work from your drawings and specs, coordinate with the general contractor and trades, and pour to the tolerances your floor actually needs.

Metro Atlanta's commercial work has a few things in common. Distribution and logistics buildings cluster along I-75, I-85, I-20 and I-285 and around Hartsfield-Jackson, and their floors take constant forklift traffic. Intown, older mills and warehouses keep getting converted into lofts, offices and food halls with polished concrete floors. Everywhere, Atlanta's humidity and wet clay subgrade make moisture control under the slab a real issue for flooring.

We bid commercial floor work across Fulton, DeKalb, Cobb and Gwinnett counties, including Marietta, Kennesaw, Smyrna, Duluth, Tucker, Alpharetta, Sandy Springs, College Park and East Point & more.

Why Choose Atlanta Concrete Services

Commercial Slab & Floor Services

Commercial Slab Installation in Atlanta, GA

Commercial Slab Installation

A new building or expansion needs a slab-on-grade that is flat, strong and on schedule. We prepare and proof-roll the subgrade, place base stone, vapor retarder and reinforcement per plan, and pour with laser screeds and power trowels.

Thickness, mix design, joint layout and reinforcement follow the structural drawings, and we flag anything that looks off before the pour, not after.

Tenant Buildout Infills in Atlanta, GA

Tenant Buildout Infills

Retail and office buildouts often leave trenches cut through the slab for new plumbing and electrical. We compact the trench backfill, dowel into the existing slab and pour infills finished flush so the flooring contractor is not fighting a ridge.

We schedule around inspections and other trades so the space stays on track for its opening date.

Warehouse & Distribution Floors in Atlanta, GA

Warehouse & Distribution Floors

Forklift wheels chew up joint edges and wavy floors slow down racking and order pickers. We build warehouse floors to the specified flatness and levelness numbers, with armored or properly filled joints at drive aisles.

These floors often tie into loading docks and equipment pads, and we coordinate elevations so trucks and lifts transition smoothly.

Polished & Sealed Floors in Atlanta, GA

Polished & Sealed Floors

Converted lofts, showrooms and restaurants around the Westside and Old Fourth Ward often want an exposed concrete floor that looks finished. We grind, densify and polish new or existing slabs to the sheen level you choose, or apply a sealer for easy cleaning.

Polished floors also stand up well to heavy foot traffic and need no wax. On older mill slabs we test first, patch the worst damage and leave some of the history showing if you want that look.

Moisture & Vapor Control in Atlanta, GA

Moisture & Vapor Control

Flooring adhesives failing, tiles lifting and musty odors often come from moisture moving up through the slab. On new work we install the specified vapor retarder directly under the slab, and on existing floors we can apply moisture-mitigation coatings before new flooring goes down.

In Atlanta's climate, that step is cheap insurance for an expensive floor finish.

Slab Repair & Joint Rebuilds in Atlanta, GA

Slab Repair & Joint Rebuilds

Spalled joints, cracked panels and settled sections create trip hazards and damage equipment. We saw-cut and replace failed sections, rebuild joint edges with repair mortar and fill joints with semi-rigid filler where forklifts run.

Repairs can be scheduled nights or weekends to keep your business open. Where a section has settled over soft clay, we remove and recompact the subgrade instead of just pouring new concrete on the same bad base.

How We Deliver a Commercial Floor

Plan Review & Bid

We review drawings, specs and geotechnical reports, walk the site and submit a written bid with clear scope and exclusions. Commercial work is quoted from plans and a site visit, never a generic per-foot rate.

Subgrade & Prep

After Georgia 811 locates and permits are in place, we proof-roll and correct soft clay, then place base, vapor retarder, steel and embeds per plan. Projects disturbing an acre or more also follow the Georgia EPD erosion-control permit on site.

Pour & Finish

We pour with crews and equipment sized to the placement and finish to the specified tolerance. Summer pours start early to stay ahead of Atlanta heat, and we adjust the mix and curing for hot, humid days or the rare winter cold snap.

Cure, Cut & Turnover

We saw-cut joints on time, cure to spec and protect the slab from trades. Then we turn the floor over with any test results the project requires.

Commercial Floor FAQs

How do you price commercial slabs?

We quote from your plans and a site visit, because thickness, reinforcement, flatness specs and access vary too much for a single rate. You get a written bid with scope and exclusions.

Can you work around an occupied building?

Yes. We phase repairs and infills, use dust controls and work nights or weekends when needed.

Who handles permits?

Usually the general contractor or owner holds the building permit from the City of Atlanta Office of Buildings or the local jurisdiction. We work to the approved plans and inspections.

Can an old warehouse floor be polished?

Often, yes. We test the slab, repair cracks and joints, then grind and polish, and older floors in adaptive-reuse buildings can look great with character left in.

How soon can racking or equipment go on a new slab?

It depends on the mix and the loads. Light use can start within days, but heavy racking and forklifts should wait for the strength the engineer specifies.

Do you pour foundations too?

Yes. We also build commercial footings and foundations, so the slab and foundation can be handled by one crew.
